Fellowship in Informatics
The Informatics Fellowship will provide a radiology resident or early career professional with hands-on experience in the field of informatics, including one-on-one mentoring and projects. The fellow will be introduced to initiatives of the , ACR's AI-LAB™, and other ACR Informatics projects as part of a three part program.
- Fall e乐彩app官方下载旧版: The fellowship will begin with one week in ACR’s Reston, VA office. During this period, the fellow will meet with a variety of teams and ACR experts and be immersed in discussions on informatics and hands-on learning projects.
- Spring 2021: Next, the fellow will continue to gain experience by spending a week at Emory University learning about ACR's AI-LAB™, including day-to-day implementation in a clinical setting. Additional time will be allotted for didactic lectures, one-on-one mentoring, and independent study.
- Late Spring 2021: To conclude the program, the fellow will be invited to participate in ACR’s e乐彩app官方下载旧版 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
At the close of the fellowship, the fellow will write and submit an informatics white paper with direct mentoring from Drs. Tessa Cook and Adam Prater.
The time of the fellowship sessions will be arranged with the fellow and their supervisors to accommodate their training and work schedules. The fellow will receive half of the $500 stipend when they arrive, and the remainder after the completion of their white paper. The fellow’s travel and living expenses during the program will be paid by the ACR.
